What likeu is

likeu is a platform being built for people who've been carrying something they couldn't easily talk about. We're in our research phase — learning from real conversations what this platform should be.

What we collect

When you have a conversation with Dora, our AI research guide, we collect:

• Your conversation messages
• Insights extracted from the conversation (themes, needs, language patterns)
• Your email address, if you choose to share it
• A random session ID (not tied to your identity)

We do not collect your name, location, IP address, or any device identifiers.

How we use it

• To understand what people need from a platform like this
• To shape the features, safety systems, and community guidelines we build
• To notify you when likeu launches (only if you share your email)

Your conversation data is used for product research only. It is never published, sold, or shared with third parties.

AI and data processing

Dora is powered by OpenAI's language models. Your messages are sent to OpenAI for processing during the conversation. OpenAI does not use API data for training. We extract structured insights at the end of each conversation and store them in our database.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS). Access is restricted to the likeu team. We use row-level security policies and service-role authentication to protect your data.

Your rights

• You can stop the conversation at any time
• You can choose not to share your email
• You can request deletion of your data by emailing us at privacy@likeuapp.com

Under 18

If you're under 18, Dora adjusts the conversation to be lighter. We do not ask about or extract personal trauma from minors. We focus on your ideas, interests, and what you'd want from a platform like this.
